My girlfriend/traveling companion bought an XD just before our trip from N Illinois to Florida Keys. We have been retired for several years. Barbara has owned 3 Matrix, 2003, 2006, and 2008. We live near each other in Aledo and love to travel by car all over America and average 30K miles every year on trips.
WIth each new Matrix, the gas milage decreased slightly but the HP was increased. The XD gets much better gas mileage, yet still has adequate HP.

to the nation! Americans do love their horsepower, so it doesn't surprise me it keeps going up. Nice to see Barbara has such dedication to the Matrix....
