I love the car, its a SMOOOOOTH ride!
Welcome to Toyota Nation! I've got a lot of family that lives in greater St. Louis so I know the area very well. I really like the St. Peters/St. Charles area up between the rivers. Nice!

Mine is still under warranty so I still go to the dealership. Once out of warranty I either do all my own work or take my cars to Big Bend Automotive. My in-laws have been going there since the 70's ... its in Maplewood tho, so its a good distance from you. My wifes Volvo goes to GLB at the recommendation of Big Bend Auto, simply because Big Bend doesn't deal with anything more than basic maintenance on European cars.
Depending on what you're in need of repair/modification wise, I have all the tools and more and am always willing to lend a hand. ...pending spousal time approval. lol.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. I'm mostly wondering for right now because I have a 2002 VW Jetta 1.8T that's throwing the P0171 - System too lean code. Supposedly I need new vac hoses, and the dealer wants to charge way too much for some cheap hoses. Thanks again!

That I can do. Best way to approach it, if you don't already know which hose is the culprit, is to check for cracks and replace those hoses first then go from there. We'll just measure each hose and buy a spool or lengths in feet from Autozone. It'll save you a ton of cash.
Greg's right, beer makes friends and friends do favors like wrenching. lol.
Feel free to PM me if you wanna get together some time and wrench on the VDub. *flashes Das Auto gang sign*
