Talking Hello! First post, New Car :)

Hello fellow Toyota people,

Bob here, 25 and just got my first New car all on my own!

Trying to build up my credit and all that good stuff, actually had better credit than I expected lol.

I picked up a 2011 Toyota Camry SE, black on black with most of the bells and whistles

I'll post up some groovy pics when I take'em.

What are your thoughts on removing all the chrome lables and tags? I think it would look slick.

See u around,

Bob

Welcome to the Nation, Bob!

If the badges are held on by that 3M double sided tape then use some fishing line and use a sawing motion in between the badge and the vehicle surface. Go back and forth until the badge comes off. You can get the rest of the residue off using some Goo-Gone (NOT Goof-Off) and then put some wax on to protect the paint afterwards.

Hey Bob, welcome to the forums!

Congrats on the purchase. As for removing the badges, I think it's quite a good idea. I've always been a fan of debadging cars, although I prefer to leave at least the Toyota emblem on.

Looking forward to seeing the photos
