Hello! (and HELP!) ;-)

Just joined up. I have owned 4 Camrys ('88, '92, '05 and 2010). I just got an XM radio for the 2010. The stock radio is "XM ready" but I need to find out if I can use the built-in satellite antenna to plug into my new XM (ONYX) radio. I would like to avoid having to string another antenna wire through the car and stick it on the trunk lid, since the car already has the built-in antenna on the roof. Can I do this?

Welcome to the forums! Always great to have such a dedicated Camry owner sign up with us.

I'd recommend going to the Camry forum and searching for past threads about using the satellite antenna with XM radio. If you don't find what you're looking for, then by all means post up a new thread.

Thanks all! O.k., - I have found the adapter I need to plug my Camry's stock XM antenna into the XM (ONYX) radio I just bought. The adapter costs $59. and is 12 feet long(!) I only need maybe 2 feet between the back of the radio and the XM radio, which I plan to keep in that storage area below the car radio. What am I going to do with 10 feet of cable I don't need?
