I made a boo-boo, need help

Hi, Shawna here and first time on this forum. Yesterday I added window washer to what I thought was the window washer resevoir, needless to say, silly me, put it in the radiator resevoir. What do I need to do. I drove it after I did it and didn't find out till later that I did it wrong...

Shawna what you should do is syphon the resevoir with a small piece of hose. put the hose all the way into the resevoir, put your finger over the top, pull as much of the hose out as you can while leaving the end of the hose at the bottom of the resevoir. Put the end in your hand low to the ground in a bucket and begin syphoning. DO NOT SUCK ON THE END OF THE HOSE! Engine coolant is harmful or fatal if ingested. Syphon into a bucket or pail, place in temporary container, and dispose of at your local parts store that accepts old fluids.

Sorry, I have a 2010 Camry. I went ahead and syphon'd the antifreeze out of the resevoir. I talked to a person at the auto zone and he said that it should be alright. Just filled up the resevoir with antifreeze again, and the window washer in the right resevoir! Dumb me...

Don't feel badly, it's a fairly common mistake. Consider it a lesson learned.

There's hardly a certified mechanic out there who hasn't filled four or five quarts of oil in a car only to find he didn't put drain plug back in. Clean up on aisle one!
