I've been a reader of TN for a number of years but decided to join after reading 62 pgs of the recall thread (only took 2 days

).
My first Toyota was a 69 Crown that I bought used in 1972. My next Toyota was an '89 Camry. This model yr is when I started to fall in love with the Camry model. It drove so smoothly that I couldn't believe it was FWD. Back then, most FWD vehicles shifted with a 'clunk'. My wife and I have both owned '94 Camrys -- then an '02 Camry and '05 Camry. Just a few weeks ago, I bought a 1-yr used '09 Camry. I wasn't even looking for a new(er) car but found this '09 on our credit union parking lot at a pretty good price. It didn't have a single scratch on the 'Barcelona-red' paint job and had low miles too (11K). When I saw it had Michelin MXV-4s, I got really interested. Checked out the history of the car and found it was previously owned by a Toyota dealership in N-Central FL and used as a loner car. All the maint was done as scheduled as were the 2 SUA recalls (including flashing the ECM memory).
Just when I thought my next car
WAS NOT going to be another Toyota because of all the negative press, I find myself driving another Camry.
