Hi All

Hello. I am a retired physician and builder and Alaskan commercial fisherman living in Wyoming. I started working as a mechanic to put myself through college and medical school and having a commercial fishbpat requires a lot of mechanical skills. I have two older cummins diesel pickups which I have worked on as well as a hobby of fixing up old mercedes diesels of which I have three from 1980-1985. I have some heavy equipment as well from housebuilding, old but serviceable big iron.We also have 3 Toyotas, a 97 Camry, a 2001 Corolla and an amazing 4wd Tercel wagon driven by my college age daughter. I do all the service and repairs on all of the vehicles up to an including Tranny and engine work. The 2001 Corolla is our newest car, recently purchased with only 281,000 miles but it runs very well and has been well cared for. I like helping folks with problems and I can think outside the box and find unique solutions to perplexing problems.

Nice to meet you! I see you've been a member of these forums for a number of years so I can't exactly say "welcome" , but it's great to have you with us

I've moved your post to its own thread. If you'd like the title changed just let us know

Sounds like you're very dedicated to Toyotas, which is great to see. There's nothing like working on your own cars.

I hope you plan on sticking around for many years to come
