Angry Oxygen sensor

The exhaust on my 98 Sienna got pushed back when the wife (that's not my writing) struck a hard object and after prying the bracket back to sort of normal, the check engine lite came on.

Read the code as 155 and Haynes says it was the bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor. Changed out the little guy and now check engine lite and 155 code is back.

Update: Bank 2 Sensor 1 is the Oxygen Sensor nearest the radiator. After changing out this one the nasty 155 code went away.

Hello Gary!

Sorry to hear your engine is throwing out a code, but I see you've already posted to the Sienna forum and the folks there should be able to help you with the issue. Let me know if you have any questions about Toyota Nation.

to the community!

It's a shame about the o2 sensor code on your Sienna, but at least it's nothing major. Typically, once you've amended a problem that caused the check engine light to come on, you have to reset the ECU to get rid of it. The good people in the Sienna forum should be able to give you all of the info you need.

Best of luck, and enjoy the site
