Greetings Y'all!

Just got referred here from the dead forum Camry forum I'd been trying to use.

I own a '90 Camry wagon. Bought the little windup car in December. This picture was taken the day after I bought it. It looks better now and has since had the engine rebuilt.

Welcome to Toyota Nation! Although our Gen 1 & 2 Camry forum isn't as bustling as the later Gen forums, it still is fairly active with members helping out in there and the sticky threads full of information for you. Let me or one of the other moderators know if you have any questions about the forums. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forums. Nice looking Camry. The paint still seems good, and judging by the cleaning products seen in the background of the photo, it looks like you take good care of it. The engine rebuild sounds good too.

Enjoy the site

2nd Generation

In all honesty, had I known the engine was that far gone I doubt I'd have bought the car. I tend to get nasty surprises with used (or even new) cars and trucks. Just my Karma. I look 'em over, pay a mechanic, etc... and a couple of weeks later I'm replacing a transmission or AC compressor or something.

I was surprised at how well the paint looks on this car. With 191,000 (when purchased) it certainly wasn't a garage queen or anything. The hood and driver's door are flaking a bit and that's about the only major paint issue I've got.

I've just got to put 4 struts on this thing and redo some indifferently done body work up front and I'm set.
