Hello and good day. A buddy of mine told me to check out this forum for all things Toyota.

I just sold my 2004 cavalier and bought a 95 Toyota Avalon. Now my wife drives the 2002 Corolla and I drive the Avalon. I was tired of cramming myself into a Cavalier. And the Cav was at 120k which is when it starts to get expensive fixing everything.

I have a 2 car garage and a good compressor and a wicked set of tools and I will keep the Avalon and Corolla running a long time.

As soon as I got the Avalon I changed all of the fluids twice. Started running good oil with lucas additive and quaker state high mileage dex III tranny fluid. Two days after that I got it Krown rust proofed. It is an awesome car and I think for 20 bucks more a week the gas is nothing compared to the comfort.

I think this is a great forum and I know if I have questions I will either find the answer already posted or find someone who knows how or where to get the info to fix it.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

Congrats on the purchase! We have a very active Avalon community here, so there's plenty of great info and resources on hand.

If you have any questions about the site, just let me or one of the other staff member know

Happy motoring, and enjoy the forums

Got to agree with you on the comfort of the Avalon. It's great to take on long road trips because it's so comfortable, and at 30+ MPG highway the mileage is hard to beat for a V6 sedan!

Welcome to Toyota Nation....enjoy yourself!
