Canada 1991 Corolla 5 speed wagon

Hello I'm Rod, this is my second Toyota, the first was an '83 Tercel.
I love this Corolla, it was a 1 owner with 87,000 miles, used to haul babies and tweeners for the forst 12 years. It gets great milage easy to work on and easy to find used parts for upgrades, maybe a 4AGE sometime but I do love 49 MPG. I hope to learn more DIY's here and apply them to my Flexible Flyer. Need to add soon intermittent wipers as rain here does not come in just 3 speeds. Yes it does sometimes snow, just not during the recent Olympics. HA! I've added a few visual and comfort improvements a '91 SR5 steering wheel, an '89 DLX console, '90 All Trac overhead storage and rear speakers and I want to learn how to install a power rear hatch lock/unlock system from the All Trac or AWD donor car I recently discovered.

Welcome to Toyota Nation, Rod!

The Corolla really is a great all around car, and for maintaining it and any planned mods you'll find tons of info in our Corolla forums. Enjoy yourself here!

Hi Rod, welcome to the forums!

Looks like you have fitted in well here. The 6th Gen Corolla forum is very active, so there's plenty of info in regards to the engine swap (if you decide to do it).

Happy motoring
