New here with a Rav 4 in Tanzania

I live and work in Toledo Ohio and spend quite a bit of time in Tanzania as well. My wife of 6 years is from there and currently teaching at Dodoma University there. Long distance commute
I have a ......yes Jeep Liberty here 4 inch lift OME springs, ARB bumper loaded for 4 wheeling
Over there she has a Toyota Rav 4 (1995 model ) so the reason for me signing up on here.
looking for ideas on what I may need to take over next time for hers, what I need to look out for and what all I can mod on it.
We just bought it out of Japan and was delivered a couple of weeks ago.

I've got to say Tanzania is one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen. Been through it twice as a tourist and I can't wait to go back for the third time. One of my favorite things was staying at Ngorongoro crater and enjoying the morning fog and mist over the crater floor while the sun came up. Spectacular!

Thanks hopefully be able to learn a little bit about Rav 4s and know what tools/ parts I may need to take along. Can't leave anything alone so have to do some things to it!
