Good afternoonm my name is Vic, I live in Brantford, Ontario Canada. We recently purchased a 2005 Echo with 38000 kms on it. It is an awesome vehicle. The first week we did 700 kms on a tank of gas.

Tinkering around with mechanical things is my passion. I have been looking for an aftermarket throttle body, just for fun and to see if I can make it run better.

Sor far we are impressed with this car.

First thing I found out when I got the Yaris was the amazing gas mileage!

The little echo we have is a great little machine. It runs very well, drives nicely and looks great.

The local dealer here in Brantford, Ontario who sold it to us were very good to deal with.

I have always enjoyed making things run better and I would like to change out the throttle body, just for fun, not to go faster, just to run better.

Does anyone have any websites I could visit to ask about performance parts??

Hi Vic,

Welcome to the forums! The Echo is a great little car, and amazingly fuel efficient as you have found out. My father owns a gold 2001 Vitz RS (1500cc) and it seems to run on the smell of an oily rag.

Have a search through the Echo/Vitz/Yaris forum to see if there have been any other threads in regards to performance modifications. If you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to start a new thread.
