New from Illinois

As I said I am a new user. I own an 88 toyota p/u that is still pretty much all stock and very good condition. I am on here because I want to be alot more familiar with my own vehicle especially as far as doing work on it goes. I am tired of paying so much to get work done. I would just prefer to do it myself. I am also wanting to do some upgrading like maybe converting my engine to a turbo, or maybe putting a V-6 in it. Just would really like to boost the power. Anyways if anyone knows of some sites to go to, too get toyota replacement parts and the such I would definitely appreciate it. One thing I have noticed it is somewhat hard to navigate to find just the simplest of parts such as nuts and bolts.

Ohh and I have owned my Yota for 9 years and I dont think I would ever by a different Brand of truck I really like the quality of toyota and especially the simplicity of the older models.

As I tell most people who are new to TN, a great place to start is by looking through the sticky threads located at the top of any forum page. The Hilux forum is very active, and many members have contributed to the sticky threads in order to have shortcuts to commonly sought questions. Enjoy yourself, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
