Hello, I've got a 1988 Toyota Celica ST165 (Hatchback) which actually is a hand me down from my mother, it being her first car. Both my parents were looking to sell the car, but I told them otherwise. The car has seen alot, and has lived through some accidents and has saved its passengers lives. So I kept them from selling it.
Performance
Looking to swap the stock 3S-FE with an 1UZ-FE Engine. It has that one of a kind V8 sound that you can't beat. Plus it's just my taste. I understand it's a light car, but I will be doing the necessary modifications to it in the coming years, as well as convert it to RWD and Manual Transmission. Seeing V8's in minis, supras and datsuns has inspired me for this swap. It's very plausible.
Design
In the future I will also be designing the body. The ST165 looks like a beauty already but to me it seems that the body needs to be a bit wider. I've already got design schemes. I will be design the car for a newer modern look, but keep to the original style. So that you can tell it's a celica.
Fun fun fun project car

I don't see very many of these 4th gen Celicas out there being tuned at all. Very very few are on youtube. And very very few are the ideal performance car (like some over riced out 4th Gen Celicas

) Not my style but if you like that props to you. So I will soon have a very worthy 4th Gen Celica that will rival some muscle cars, pushing the boundaries between what is Rice and Muscle, since some people have trouble figuring that out.
Overall: I'm gonna work on the
engine first, before cosmetics.
It's long I know, but thanks for Reading! Hope to hear from all of you!
