4 tires, engine, and body by any other name...
is my Toyota Scion 2009 Xb. Severely disappointed with the LOW MPG despite the Camry engine and gearing nearly the same but pulls too many RPM in 4th-why didn't Toyota make a 5th gear overdrive? Achieved superior MPG on a 2009 Avalon 6-speed 3.5 L to the Scion! Car otherwise is problem free at 15K miles but a slight "clunk" heard at EXACTLY 13 MPH when decelerating to a stop. Not certain if I will keep the car or not. Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my world!

to Toyota Nation! Have you taken your Scion yet to an independent mechanic? I've often found the independents are much more vigorous at running down mileage and electrical issues than manufacturer service centers can do. Sorry to hear about your troubles....hope you get it resolved soon.
