My name is Josh and I just got my first Toyota last week, its a bit of a beater (Corolla, 170,000 +/- mi., looks like hell, runs like a dream). This is my first experience with Toyotas. My only other import experience is with an '87 Pathfinder. The only other cars I've worked on have been 94 Ford Exploder, a couple Chrysler minivans and an 89 Olds Regency.
A little about me: I know my way around an engine, but I don't know the names for all of its parts, but if they're in front of me I can put them together in no time. I ran street circuits during high school and for a couple years after in some of my buddies' cars and the Olds. I believe in keeping the body stock but modding the hell out of the internals (unfortunately I wrecked the Olds before I could do anything serious to it). However, I have a great appreciation for a car with a hot bod.
Right now I'm a Naval Reservist with a crap civilian job, so I'm looking for cheap ways to make things work good and long.

I like a man who is honest, Josh. Our Corolla forums are loaded with tons of information in the sticky threads and lots of members who participate too. Lots of help there to keep the Corolla running for years to come....
