Hello all,

After browsing this site for the better part of a day, I decided to join. Great stuff all the way around.

I have a 1995 Corolla 1.8L that I dearly love... only it doesn't run. I plan to use my Haynes manual and the many words of wisdom on this site to get her up and running again even better than before (which wasn't too shabby). Hopefully along the way I can help someone else out, too.

Mechanically, I've been away from cars for quite a while although I spent the bulk of my formative years crawling around everything from souped-up V-8s to six-volt VWs. With any luck I'll get those smarts back (perhaps it's like riding a bike...).
