Hey guys, I've been an on-and-off lurker here for a while (probably posted a couple times in the past as well). I'm currently driving -
A 2001 Camry LE (5SFE)


and a 1987 MR2, T-Tops, 4AGE.



In addition to that I'm a Formula SAE member at Oakland University, here is our 2010 effort which was good for 36th place at competition despite a whole range of issues in the days of and the days leading to competition, including popping a motor 5 hours before competition started and snapping an axle after the acceleration and skidpad events.

Some numbers on the car:
498 lbs
Honda F4i 599 cc
rapid prototype nylon intake manifold, breathing through a 20mm restrictor per FSAE rules
Honda cam and pawl differential
75 hp @ 11,000 rpm
42 ft-lbs @ 9,000 rpm
Penske Formula dampers.
0-60 in ~3.9s
capable of pulling over 1.5g in the corners.

Mazda Torsen differential
0-60 ~4.2s

Thanks for the welcome! The FSAE program is an amazing experience, I'm in school for engineering and I learn more there than in the classroom.
