Hello from brand new Camry XLE V6 w/NAV owner, replacing a rear-ended and totaled 1995 Lexus ES300 with *only* 339,000 miles on it. Also have a 2000 Sienna ("Camry with a high roofline"). We drove a new Lexus, but couldn't see paying an extra $11K for essentially the same car. Looking forward to discussions and maybe help with figuring out some of the bells and whistles on the new one.

Everything is cool so far, including 31.6 mpg average for the first 3 fill-ups (mostly highway, but with constantly bumping the RPMs up and down). I figure at least 33 mpg highway once everything settles down.

Sorry to hear about the Lexus, sounds like she treated you well. Wow, great mileage with the Camry!

I agree with you on your expected mileage. I've got an Avalon and am able to consistently get 32 MPG on the highway at 65-70 MPH. Enjoy the Camry, and welcome to the nation!

I'm also sorry to hear about what happened with the Lexus. I hope nobody was hurt. Congrats on the purchase of the Camry though! . They're great cars. The Camry forums here are jam packed full of information so you're bound to learn a whole lot about your new ride.
