1990 tercel ez, Weber carb

hey, new to this forum but what I have read is assume,..... great feedback. I have a 1990 tercel ez 102,000 miles clean. I ahve put a considerable amount of money into this car given i believe in older cars and needed a realiable form of trransportation besides a huge diesel truck. I did the 32/36 weber conversion and am till working it. the car was not taken care of mechanically and hadn't been run for years now I have put 1200 miles on it and the guides are leaking and I believe the oil rings are gone,.... it burns oil. I dont want to break the motor apart yet because itr really seems to run good. I do have a problem with the plugs running hot. I have timed it and I plugged all vaccumn ports that had been previously used.

Welcome to the nation!

Head over to our Tercel forum, I'm sure the guys in there will be able to help you out with any problems you're having. I wouldn't bother breaking the motor open either, until it starts running like crap.

All the best with your ride
