Hi from hot, hot, Florida.

I'm not a new Venza owner yet. I'm trying to decide between the 2010 loaded Venza and a 2010 Lexus RX350. I don't want to buy something and be sorry about it. FYI: I'm a empty-nester, so no kid issues would be involved in the buy.

I would be trading in a 2007 GX470 Lexus, which is way too big for me. I don't need 4-Wheel drive and a V-8, plus my elderly parents cannot get into it. The Lexus is loaded and has a grand total of 30,300 miles. Hopefully this would be a good trade-in value.

At the present time, I'm driving a '99 Honda Accord so I can save mileage on my Lexus (let alone gas money!)

Opinions are needed, if you have any.

Feel free to check out both the Venza forum and the Lexus forum. There's bound to be information in there that will help you make your decision between the two. I agree with what Kiwi said. I'd ask the members of the Venza and Lexus forums to see what advice they may have. As for me I'd say the mileage comparison between the two SUVs you mentioned is negligible as their mileage comparisons are pretty much the same. Looks like you'll have to decide if you want the more expensive, but more luxurious Lexus or the simpler Venza.
