Hi folks,
I am new to the forum, joining from Arlington, TX. I recently acquired a 1995 Avalon with just over 150K, and I am orienting myself to Maintenance, repair, common issues, etc. This Avalon belonged to an engineer who kept meticulous records of regular maintenance and service. Other than a couple of oil leaks, seems to be in great shape.My mother and 2 sisters have owned Corollas for several years, and I have worked on them enough to appreciate the durability and reliability of Toyota's, for the most part. While there are always bound to be some defects and recalls, these cars are a step above what the American automakers have been producing for awhile. Good to meet all of you.
