AE92 89 Corolla GT-S

Hey guys, just picked up a black 89 GT-S Corolla as a project car. Yes, it's FWD but there are ways to remedy that. Personally I enjoy FWD vehicles, especially since I live in Canada. Our crew wants to source out a drivetrain from an MR2 and convert the car to a mid engine layout but honestly I'm exhausted thinking about it. We're hoping to auto cross the car so who knows what will end up happening with it. We just want to have fun and enjoy our new toy.

to TN!

Those are great cars. Nothing wrong with FWD either, they can be a lot of fun . The MR2 drivetrain swap sounds intense, although would probably be the first of it's kind to be built. The autocross sounds fun, especially in such a nimble car. Feel free to post your results afterwards. Wouldn't mind seeing a few pics of the car sometime too

Enjoy the forums!

Pics coming soon. It's a nice example, that's for sure! Currently does not run - no compression in one cylinder and the sunroof leaks. Gonna get it running then decide what to do with it from there. Really wanna do the mr2 conversion...
