Owner of new 2011 Camry LE

Hi everyone,

I had been driving a 1999 Camry LE since my freshman year of college in 2004. Loved that car, never had any major problems with the car in the 6 years I drove it.

Driving home from work one day this lady made a left turn without yielding to me and I ended up T-Boning her. Since both my airbags deployed, the cost of repairing the car would have cost more than the value of the car.

Needing to buy a new car, I knew that the only car I wanted to buy was another Camry, and ended up getting the brand new 2011 Camry LE 4-cylinder. I hope this new car will last me another 10 years!

Sorry to hear about your old Camry, but a big congratulations on your new one! It's a great car, so I have little doubt it'll serve you well at least 10 years.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your old Camry too. Good thing that the airbags served their intended purpose, although sad that it had to be written off the road due to the repair costs involved. Great to hear that you've bought a brand new 2011 Camry however! . They're really nice cars, as you would know. Feel free to post some pics sometime, would love to see it

Thanks for the welcome guys! Yes, my 99 Camry probably saved my life! I only had minor cuts to my forearms that took only a couple of weeks to heal. I'm glad I made the right choice in my replacement car!
