Hi all, Just joined this site in hopes of obtaining tons of much needed info. I am from Hickory NC. I am a longtime Ford fan so dont hate me. I just purchased a 1973 Hilux truck. I know absolutely nothing about it . Its in great shape and I need help restoring/repairing/modifying it. I intend on using it as a daily driver. Looking for a reliable vehicle. If this is a bad idea I will sell it and get something else. Just need guidance on where to go with it. I put a post on the pre88 forum. I need to know what I can do with it as far as engine swaps/tranny swap, disc brakes ,MSD etc. any help is apprecated.

There's a lot of information for you in the Hilux sticky threads, and also in past threads as well. Of course, members there will lend a hand if you need it. Any questions about the forums just let me or one of the other staff members know. Welcome to the nation!
