22re efi fuse blows

Hello My EFI fuse is blowing as soon as key hits on. Parked it and now it won't start. Tried many things. When EFI relay is out, fuse doesn't blow.

Hello, and welcome to Toyota Nation! I'd recommend visiting our Hilux pickup forum and search there for any past threads about your fuse issue, and if you don't find anything then post up a new thread so the members there can help you out.

aboard!

Best of luck sorting out the fuse problem. Fingers crossed that it turns out to be something simple.

All the best, and enjoy yourself here at TN

Sounds like the relay is bad.
Welcome to the forum.

new update I got the truck running , fuse stayed hot, don't really know how we did it. I ran it for a week, out on the beach, cold night. I noticed driving something was not smooth. I stopped the truck and knew the fuse had blown. Had to tow it home. Surfer Dave of Daves Jeep has grown attached to this truck, so he quickly took it and got it started again, cleaned the relays and fuses, I put in a new windshield because of leaking, thinking on the fuse or relays. Replaced some temp sensors and the truck starts beautiful. In the garage I start the truck and something seems to be draining the battery. Today I went to start the truck and the battery was low and the fuse blew. I put a new fuse in and hooked up a starter battery and powered the battery and the fuse didn't blow. Question is the connection of the battery power and the fuse blowing, maybe a surge,

As stated before. You could have a bad relay or a voltage spike. The battery drain sounds like a relay is not turning off.

So, the relay sticking open, this disconnects a safety in the relay to adjust the flow of power and it surges blowing the fuse? The efi relay or another Thanks
