"New" SoCal Camry owner

Hello all, this is a great forum so far from the lurking I've done, so I figured I'd finally post.

I recently picked up a 1994 Camry V6 SE 2 door from a craigslist ad(which was odd for me being a diehard Ford guy), it seems like a pretty fair deal so far. $2300 with 102,xxx on the odometer. My mechanic likes it and thinks it's pretty solid, although it did die on the freeway due to a bad idle control valve. Apparently it's going to need some more serious work done soon though, so I'll take those questions to the 3rd gen forum.
