Hello TN

Just purchased a 93 Camry LE, 156k and it is great. I am amazed at the solid ride and performance these Toyota's have. I once had a 82 Corolla and wish I still had it. But now I am back in the Toyota family and I believe I am here for good.

Thanks for such a great resource as TN.

Oh, I will be changing the Transmission fluid and filter soon and wanted to to make sure I will not be making a mistake by doing so

Welcome back to the Toyota family.

Unless the filter is damaged, the trans filter never needs to be replaced. All you need to do is clean with some solvent or spray it out with some brake cleaner. Save yourself the money on that and just replace the gasket and fluid.
