Well, I guess you could say I am a Matrix virgin.. Just bought my first Toyota actually. (I had 4 Jeep Cherokees before this one...)

Bought from orig owner (63yr old man and 71 yr old wife, it was babied!)

04 XRS, 6sp, pics uploaded already.
Fully stock other than tint, stereo and 8k HID's, and soon to be 3400 HID's in the fogs.. DRL canceled, oh, and a diff shift knob with no markings.

I'm 27, very mechanically inclined, a company man or peeon if you will. Willing to help anyone I guess.

Wow, congratulations on scoring a babied ride!

I think you'll see a huge difference in maintainability between your Matrix and the Jeeps you owned before. Welcome to the Toyota family!
