New Toyota Owner

I've heard great things about Toyotas and after my Jeep nickel and dimed me to death, I finally sold it and bought a Toyota. I am now the proud owner of a 2009 Toyota Corolla XLE.

I've read the stories about people having their Toyotas well past 200,000 miles and I hope to do the same!

IMO 200K+ with Toyotas is no fallacy as long as you take care of regular maintenance. These engines will run 400K+ with decent care. Welcome to the world of Toyota ownership, and welcome to Toyota Nation!

Your Corolla will last a long time! I see cars on a daily basis come into the dealership with 200, 300, and even over 500,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Congrats on the XLE!

I can safely say that your Corolla will last you a long, long time - Especially with the great info here at TN. There's information about everything from maintenance to modifications, so whatever questions you may have, I'm sure you'll be able to find an answer.
