Canada Greetings from Canada

Hello all,

I just joined a few minutes ago. I myself drive a 2001 Toyota Camry LE, and I love it. Although I love my car, I would also love a Toyota Highlander Hybrid.

I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

I myself have a Camry.....they're great cars! And, interestingly enough, I, too would like a Highlander, although I don't think I could afford a hybrid version ever.

Thank you! I can't afford a Highlander, period. I am a student, 21, that's also in debt. That Highlander Hybrid is just a dream...

In fact, just last week, one of my previous high school teachers said that a new Highlander Hybrid costs more than his house when he originally bought it.

Funny, but sad. I, too am 21 and recently leased a 2011 Camry. It's fun and cheap....Highlander will come later!

If you get the chance go look at some of the Camry forums...they're really informative and a lot of good ideas are passed around!

The Highlander, all-gas or hybrid, is a dream...I can vouch for that.

Cool

I love the Camry too. If I had a whole lot of money, I'd buy one of every Toyota model. The Camry is a great car, and I would also have a hard time giving up my own car.

Last year, I was in an accident, and here is the damage:

But on the bright side, the insurance company allowed me to rent this beautiful 2010 Toyota Camry:

Originally, the insurance company believed that the damage exceeded the car's value, but it didn't, according to my Toyota dealer's body shop. As a result, the insurance company said I could fix it at their expense.

She was hit by a Ford Escort, which was towed from the scene. Obviously, Toyotas are built tough!

This isn't a Toyota story....but last fall I was driving my 2007 Mustang down the highway when a goose ran in front of me and I hit it dead on at 70 mph. The damage consisted of a bent license plate. That was all!!! I think it just goes to show that our cars can withstand much more than we give them credit for sometimes.
