I'm kyle im from canada. I live in the prov Saskatchewan. And the city i live in is Prince albert! I bought my 1990 celica all-trac turbo about 5 months ago.. When i first bought the car it had 139,000 km on it. An older lady owned it and i found that kind of.... odd lol? so i drove it for 2 weeks and i spun a bearing... damn...
So!! engine swap #1 began, i went to every auto wrecker there was and i actually found an engine.. out of a right hand drive celica gt4.. So i bought the car for $700 dollars and pulled the engine out and extended the harness a drooling 26" which took about 20 hours to do.. after about 2 weeks of hard work i had a JDM 3sgte in my car
!!
So i went to napa and bought some royal purple synthetic oil and did an oil change... bought new plugs and wires, basicly a quick tune up! Bought a manual boost controller on line and was running about 13 psi.... Then about 2 weeks ago i was driving home doing about 100 kph and BOOM i spin another bearing!!!
This time im not messing around.... I took the engine out, took it apart and brought the block, head, crankshaft, pistons, rods... etc to get looked at. They are rebuilding the head, putting in racing bearings, cleaning everything, honing the cylinders, and some other stuff... Any way im getting a full rebuild on my engine this time. I have all new parts coming like oil pump, water pump, timing belt, etc.
