Hello to all. Reason for my joining this group is my daughter bought a 1995 Geo Prism, 1.6L,5 speed man, some time ago and had good luck with it until recently. The other day she was leaving work and the car would crank but failed to start. She called a friend for help and then managed to get the car started while waiting for the friend. He followed her home (approx. 15 miles), the car stalled a couple of times on the way but they managed to restart it and get it home. The friend checked the fuel pressure and throttle position sensor,says these are OK. Now he no longer wants to work on the car and that leaves old dad to get it fixed. HELP!

Sorry to hear that. Post your problem in the 7th gen Corolla section. I believe your car is basically a Corolla.
More info will be needed to diagnose your problem.

Welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear about the problems that your daughter has been experiencing with the Geo Prizm. As MR2Jedi said, your car is basically a Corolla, and shares the same mechanical parts, so I'd recommend that you head on over to the 7th Gen Corolla forum and perform a search. There's a wealth of information in there, so you're bound to find a solution
