New Solara owner

Hello there, As the title indicates, I'm a new solara owner.

Thougth the solara itself is far from new

It's a 1999 Solara, v6, automatic, and it's got some issues. I'm hoping I can work on these issues and make the car one I can drive for a long, long time. But that'll take some help and I'll post in the appropriate place for that later.

I'm no spring chicken any more(42 yrs old now), and not real experienced with cars, but I'm willing to get dirty and if it's something I an fix, I'll fix it.

Anyhow, hello again

No spring chicken at 42? Crap, at 46 I must be near death.... Seriously, welcome to the forums, and congratulations on the new Solara.

to TN!

You've certainly come to the right place to sort out any issues you may have (for the Solara, that is ). There's a thread here about almost everything

Happy holidays!

Thanks Well, maybe I'll get my "second wind" and by 46 I'll feel spring-like again?

Thanks, and I sure do hope I can get these issues with the car sorted out. Some are simple ones, some are harder ones, but eventually I hope to get them all fixed . I'll be using the search button a LOT I'm thinking lol.

I still literally run circles around my nephews, 14, 18, and 20, respectively, which ain't bad for mid-40s. I told all three of them the day they can beat me in a foot race or outclimb me they can call me old. I estimate that'll probably happen about the time I'm 80 and they're pushing 50.....

Congrats on the Solara! Check out the Solara section on the forum, I'm sure you'll find a lot of answers to questions you may have.
