USA creaky old guy just like my '87 corolla

A used Toyota is my first car since 2007 when I had crashed an Outback thru a concrete block wall in Tucson. I survived, yet sadly the car did't fare so well. Oh,well.
My corolla sedan has over 169000 miles. Mismatched fenders and door so the car resembles a calico cat of sorts. In order to keep it purring,
I've already changed the oil,got a new battery, and new struts in rear. I really did't need alll these things ( except for struts) I could have managed quite a while without.
We all take care of our friends, don't we ?
I'm hoping to at least have my corolla take me another 169 grand, but like me; is tired yet still kicking.

Oh, man, in doing the calculations I think Russ and I are older than you are. I confess, I'm 46....

I can relate

How long have you been seeing these"Black Dots"? Any flashing lights with them, kinda like someone taking your picture with a flash but can't catch them.
