Question Parts for daughter's 83 Toyota

Surprised my daughter & husband with an adorable 1983 Toyota 4x4 flatbed for Christmas. In pretty good shape but needs some TLC, which they are looking forward to doing together. Can someone suggest where we should look for parts? Things like interior door skins (maybe a whole new door), fuel tank, bumper, clutch, gaskets... Thank you so much ~ we are very excited about this venture!

Mechanical parts are probably easily sources for a vehicle that old through most any parts outlet. Body parts become a bit more of a challenge. Salvage yards become your friend there.

I did spend quite a bit of time going through the threads in the Hilux section but did not see any parts that she needed nor any link suggestions, but I will post the question again there. Thank you so much for your assistance!

aboard!

Sorry for the delay in welcoming you to the forums. It's good to have you with us. The Hilux sounds like a good Christmas present . I hope you manage to find all of the parts you're looking for. Feel free to post some pics when you've got it all finished!

Enjoy the forums!
