New member -- please be nice to a lady!
Greetings!
My name is Amy. I am not a Toyota enthusiast per se, just an average commuter, but I do own a Toyota and I like it very much so I would like to take good care of it.
My 2004 Toyota Corolla CE was bought used from an emporium about 2 years ago. It has no bells and whistles, but it has a beautifully clean and cared-for engine that, so far, runs great. Of course, it only has 60,000-some miles on it. I have had to replace the battery once (did it myself), but other than gas and regular oil changes, it has not needed much maintenance. I would like to keep it in good condition.
I am joining this forum to learn about my car. I expect to feel wholly ignorant 90% of the time, but I'm smart and not afraid of mechanics. I like to understand things.
I hope people here are welcoming to regular girls like me.
