been on this forum since last year, dont really post much but will be more frequent now

list of cars ive owned

1992 Toyota Levin 4afe
1990 Toyota Celica 3sge
1992 Toyota Levin 4age
1987 Honda Crx D16 Doch
1992 Toyota Camry 5sfe (still own it half with my dad, its our run around car)

and now my new baby, whos had a hard life because her last owner didnt know how to look after her well.

Its my 1990 Toyota Mr2 5spd Turbo. Only mods are cold air intake and after market BOV. Its making some sounds so im sharing with the helpful people of Toy Nation.

Can't really isolate the sound you're talking about, but from what I could make out, you need to pull the valve cover and check valve clearances. Sounds like some valve chatter.
Come on over to the MR2 section with more detailed descriptions of the problem and we'll see if we can't figure it out.

hey guys, yea ive been on here for a while, i mostly read in the supra, mr2 and camry section. Some good info comes out there to educate my self.

Anyways im gonna repost a Thread in the Mr2 section with a more detailed description of the problem and history.

Congrats on the purchase. I'm glad you took the MR2 route because that can give you some real speed and thrill.
