Toyota man since 1997
Greetings, My name is Sam. I brought my first Toyota in Jan. 1997, it is a 1994 2wd pickup with the classic 22RE engine. It had 30,000 miles when I brought it. It now has over 173,000 and has never let me down. I do all my own maintenance on it, Tune ups, belts, hoses, shocks & brakes. I can never see getting rid of it. You still see a few of these truck on the road. This little truck is great on gas!
I switch over to Mobil 1 fully synthetic at 70,000 miles and use a Wix or K&N oil filter. I LOVE MY LITTLE TRUCK! I don't see why Toyota still doesn't make a truck of this size anymore, with gas prices as high as they are now. If you know of a great website or place to buy quality parts besides the dealership please send them my way. I see a lot of great advice here. Thanks for being here to help others.
