Hi Everyone!
I have been proud owner of Toyota/Lexus products since 1994. My first Toyota was a 1994 Camry XLE V6 that I drove for 180,000 miles before giving it to my mother-in-law, who still drives it daily and has 275,000 miles on it now and the only thing that has been changed on it was a starter. I also had a 1998 Lexus GS400 that I put 155,000 miles on with no problems.
My current Toyota is a 2007 Camry SE V6 that I bought new that as of yesterday has 227,100 miles on it. The only issues that I have had with the car is the transmission was replaced at 30,000 miles, the VVT-i oil line was changed at 172,000 miles (both under warranty) and that is it. I have only done oil changes every 10,000 miles with Mobil1 5/30 and do it all myself. It needs a new water pump though, which I am having done next week. I have owned over 25 different cars in my 40 years, including a $96,000 2006 Mercedes CLS55 AMG. This 2007 Camry SE dollar for dollar has been the very best car I have ever owned. It still drives like new, has no squeaks in it, is fast, and very comfortable even with 20" wheels on it. I get irritated with people who rag on the new gen V6 Camrys. I have been very fortunate to have such a wonderful example of Toyota engineering. I did the accelerator pedal recall thing, but I never, ever had a problem with unintended acceleration.
I have been a member for a while but haven't posted much. I will post pics soon. Still looks like new! I'll be happy to answer any questions about reliability, maintenance, etc.
Regards!
