So I guess I am new here

Hello to all!
Just bought my second Tacoma a couple weeks ago. My 1st was a 2004 DC 4X4 TRD automatic stock with wheels and tires. It was a great truck until the tranny started to go at 100,000. Most that I spoke with about this were quite suprised as was I. More specifically the torque converter was the problem. So rather than invest in a truck w/100K I invested in my 2nd Tacoma. New Taco is 2007 LB DC 4X4 automatic. I am kind of new to lifts and such but here is what I know. I am running 17" Moto Metal 951's with 285 70 R17 Pro Comp xtreme M/T (soon to be 285 65 R17 Yokohama Geolander A/T). Rancho shocks front and rear. When I was at the stealership the couldn't tell wether it had a lift or not. Anyone who could tell me what to look for to figure that out would be the bomb. You can peep at my garage to see what I got. A couple things I was disappointed with were the lack of hooks for the bed rails but I am sure I can find some replacements. Also the CD play doesn't work (who checks that?? Probably should have). Since I bought it "as is" the stealer said "sorry". Anyone in the PDX area with a stock Radio they want to sell for real cheap??? Anyway it looks like there are many very knowledgable people cruizn' though here and I look forward to sharing what I can. And That's me and my ride in a long paragraph.

Scott

Hi Scott (great name by the way ), welcome to the forums!

Congrats on the purchase of the Tacoma! Sucks to hear about what happened to your last truck, but that's life I suppose. I'd suggest having a browse around the Tacoma forum, as there's bound to be someone in there who'll be able to tell you if your truck has had a lift or not. I just checked out your garage and it looks great, especially in Super White

Enjoy yourself here at TN!
