Cool TE31 Owner

Hey Ladies and Gents!

I picked up a 79 Corolla about 2 years ago as a restoration project and to get my mechanical skills up. Unfortunately life kicked in and I wasn't able to to move forward with that project.

Here I am motivated to get her back on her feet.
1979 Corolla TE31
3TC - with Webber Carbs
1978 RX7 Rear end.

Plans are to prep the car for 250-300 hp. Stiffen the chassis, upgrade brakes etc, lots of restoration needed.
Their are many options for power plant this will be the last step for this car; Full ITB setup for the 3TC; 4AG ; or I could go crazy and and put a 13B rotary or F20C (Honda S2000)

Right no I need to take care of the small things first.

Anyways pleasure to be here. Looking forward to absorb some knowledge from this forum and hopefully get this project done right.

Here is my other fun mode of transport:

Welcome to Toyota Nation!

Those are some really sweet rides that you've got there! Love the HDR shots of the Corolla . Sounds like you've got great plans for it. I'd hate to see a rotary engine go in there though. A lot of people do that over here, and it saddens me every time I see it happen. A 4A-GE would be a much better choice, and a lot more reliable too . But whatever route you decide to take, I look forward to seeing your progress

Have fun on the forums!
