New to ToyotaNation, not new to forums
Greetings Toyota friends:
I have been active in the Pelican Parts and Rennlist forums for my hobby car, a 1982 Porsche 911 SC but have not been active in the Toyota forums frankly because the cars have been so darned reliable. I currently have two Toyota vehicles, 1996 Camry LE with nearly 200k miles and a 2005 Tundra club cab SRT with about 36k miles. I used to own a 1997 Avalon with well over 200k miles that my son now drives. All the cars were bought used with low miles in every case. Needless to say, I love my Toyotas and can't see myself driving anything else for my daily drivers. They have all been a joy. My wife drives a 1996 Nissan Maxima with about 165k miles. She likes the way it looks but she is now convinced that her next one will be a Toyota since the Nissan hasn't been as reliable. I have a pretty decent collection of tools and like to work on my cars both for financial reasons and because it is a fun diversion.
