Some Warmth from AZ

Whats up everybody, I'm new to the forum. I was born and raised in upstate New York and moved out to Phoenix Arizona for school, and then fell in love with the climate. I'm 25 and I work as a marketing director for a short term Rehab and Nursing facility. I'm really into sports and fitness and am currently playing in 2 basketball leagues.

After spending countless hard earn $'s on repairs from my old ride (2005 Jaguar X-type), I decided to go back to my grass roots and try out a 2008 Camry LE, which only has 24,000 miles. My first car was a 1995 toyota corolla with 220,000 before it finally died in the Arizona Heat. After 2 weeks of owning the car, I've tinted all the windows 5% in back and 20% front, tinted the tail lights, smoked the head lights, and debadged the emblems. I have much higher hopes with this car and look forward to using this forum for help and ideas. Thanks for your support and it's a nice meeting everyone.

D

Hello, and welcome to Toyota Nation!

If you don't mind me asking, which part of upstate New York are you from? I've got a lot of family in the Canajoharie/Palatine Bridge area......small world of sorts.

Sounds like you've been busy with your Camry so far! . The 5th & 6th Generation Camry forum here is jam-packed full of great threads, with information from maintenance to modifications, so feel free to browse around and make yourself at home . Feel free to check out the 7th Generation Corolla forum sometime too, in case you feel like reminiscing

Have fun here at TN!

I had a great uncle who moved from Canajoharie to Arizona after World War 2. Seems he'd been deployed to the South Pacific during the war and had grown so accustomed to the heat he couldn't tolerate the weather in upstate New York anymore. Go figure! I go back to New York about once a year to visit my family there...definitely a small world of sorts.
