Traildust, kiwi and eyeball, thanks for the welcome. The suzuki is an 88 Samurai that belonged to my son. He continued to drive it while the fuel pump leaked fuel into the crankcase aginst my advice. I even had a replacement pump on hand waiting for him to drop by so we could change it. Well the engine developed a bad rod knock one day and he gave me the car finally. I haven't torn into it yet. The only vehicles I'm driving at the moment are 2 Mazda 626s (89 &91), 91 Nissan Pathfinder, 88 Nissan king cab. My 97 Town and Country used to belong to my daughter who let my granmdson drive it after he got his license. It got some miscare and neglect and I bought it for $1 when the rear brake lines rotted out. Re plumbed the hydraulics with polyarmor coated lines and rerouted the rear lines away from corrosion prone areas. Did some much needed engine work and when the weather gets better will be working on the transmission. Should be on the road mid spring. My grandson went from the van to the 99 Infiniti G20 which got totaled 6 months later after a transmission overhaul. I was the lean holder and decided to keep the car. It needs a right side apron, fender, bumper and etc. Looking for some pro-bono frame work. He now drives the 95 Corolla which is due a timing belt change. And as you might have guessed, he hasn't brought it in for repair. My daughter drives the 01 Camry which is doing well but needs an oil change. My son just moved the San Antonio and is experiencing a problem with no heat from the right vent and defrost on the 05 Corolla XRS, which is why I joined this forum. I only have a Haynes repair manual for it and was hoping to get an idea of what the system set up was, so I could help him troubleshoot it. One 91 mazda 626 was bought from a junk yard for parts and troubleshooting for the other Mazda's. It works out well. I rob a part from it when I need it and replace it at my convienence. Although storage is becoming a problem at this point. The rest of the vehicles are stored for the future. It has been hard at times to get parts, They aren't so popular and the after market has too many China mfg parts that just don't seem to fit right.
