Canada New XRS Member.

Hey,
New member from ontario. I purchased my first toyota last month. It is a 2010 Corolla XRS in the bright blue. It was an executive demo so it came with a bunch cool freebies. Cargo liner, trailer hitch, winter floor mats and free sat. radio for a year.
It's not our first toyota tho, the wife has an 08 matrix. She likes it.
I sold my 95 civic hatchback for the corolla. No pics of the corolla yet.
Has anyone bought the TRD lowering springs? wondering how well they ride.

Welcome to Toyotanation!

That was a very clean looking EG hatch you had. Is that an H22 swap I see under the hood?

We have a very large 10th generation Corolla section that has a lot of info and a lot of helpful members to address all your questions and concerns.

Please enjoy your stay.

The size and placement of the VTEC lettering on the valve cover gave it away, just wanted to make sure my eyesight is still good. I have a hidden love of cleanly styled Hondas.

To answer your question, the TRD lowering springs ride pretty much ride like stock, only a tiny bit firmer. They use progressive spring rates so ride comfort is more of a priority over handling. I would also cross shop Eibach springs as well due to their lifetime warranty and the fact that lower slightly a bit more than the TRD springs.

Welcome to the nation!

The XRS sounds nice! Judging by how clean your Civic looked, I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on your Corolla . A member in the 10th Generation Corolla forum by the name of SuperchargedMR2 had some TRD springs fitted to his Corolla for quite some time but recently switched to Eibachs. You can view his opinion on both springs in this thread:

Finally

Have fun on the forums, and once again, welcome to Toyota Nation!
