First bought a new 2002 Tacoma SR5 V6 TRD - Lunar mist metallic -sold in 2005 (needed to save money on gas). The practical decision was an older, used car with fewer miles and better gas mileage - at a cost of less storage, but wasn't planning on moving anytime soon. Decision: 2000 MR2 Spyder, white w/ black top, 25k miles (hey, I was single!).

Met my wife in 2006, she broke 145k miles last week on her 2000 Solara SE. We worked together, and she had a part-time job at the Toyota dealership.

I got a new canvas top for the spyder last month, just passed 80k miles.

Needed a bigger car, so before Christmas, I got her a 2008 Honda Pilot. Now selling the 2000 Solara.

I had someone come test-drive today, and when the heater was turned on, there was a bad exhaust smell. Now I'm looking for a repair manual to see what I need to fix.

Just though my first post should be an intro, hope this is a cool group. Looking forward to learning a lot.
