Talking FNG with a 2011 MGM Camry SE

I figured I'd stop by and say hi. I traded in my 2007 Charger R/T two weeks ago on a brand new 2011 Camry SE. With gas mileage and upkeep becoming a major issue in my monthly cash flow, I decided that a change was needed to make the changes necessary to buy a house this year.

This is my first "New" car and I love it. Granted, there was huge difference going from a 5.7L Hemi to the 2.5L of Fury, but I'm not at all upset about the difference in power. Its offset by the huge weight difference and better handling. The Camry is much more "Manageable", especially in Minnesota where snow is a 5 month presence. Being able to simply back out of a driveway, makes life much more enjoyable.

I've never owned anything that wasn't domestic, but I'm already planning on switching to another Camry when the lease is up! Being able to drive over bumps and imperfections in the road with out hearing the dash creak and moan is something that I never imagined to exist. At first I was worried that I would get annoyed by a buzzing "Little Four Banger" but this car is whisper quiet and super smooth.

In the end, I'm paying less for insurance, less on the car note, and less on gas. I couldn't be happier.

I would love to post pictures, but I think our final few snow falls are actively falling.

So for now, I have one of the day I picked it up.

I had the dealer install 50% Tint and a Clifford remote start. That's probably all that's going to happen at the moment but who knows

A lot of people choose the Camry for the same reasons you did. The economics alone make it a great choice in a daily driver.

to Toyota Nation, we're glad to have you aboard.....

Thanks guys.

I was finally able to get everything wiped down a bit now that we are having a spring thaw!

I got off early and played around with my phone.

Thanks again!

I'm going on week number two on this tank of gas. It was a twice a week occurrence at the local gas station with the Charger.

I really like how this thing handles too! Its really composed in the curves.

The ride is taught yet supple if that makes sense. I didnt drive the LE or XLE but the window sticker implies that the SE suspension is sport tuned. I would imagine that the SEs ride is a bit more firm than the other trim levels.

It doesnt clip over bumps and rough patches in the road which is a nice change of pace from the Charger.

This is the car I should have traded my Mustang for on day one.
