New User and 1st Toyota.

Hey everyone. New user and new to the Toyota brand. Picked up a 2009 Corolla LE coming off a lease with 33,800 miles. I had to get rid of the gas guzzler GMC Caynon Crewcab 4x4 truck. It was costing me a ton in gas per week (hour drive to work, hour drive back home). I work in the red-headed stepchild part of IT known as telecom. I'm my employer's PBX-man or simply 'the phone guy'. Previous career before telecom was a US Navy Submariner.

Hello, and welcome to the nation! Always great to welcome a present or former service member aboard the forums.

If you don't mind me asking, which type of subs did you serve on, attack boats or boomers?

One Screw, One Crew. Fast attack baby! Nothing like not knowing when you're gonna go out to sea and then who the hell knows where you're going once you submerge.

Okay, next question if you don't mind again. Which class of sub did you serve on? I've been aboard L.A. class boats myself, so just wondering....

Thumbs up

The wife liked my little Corolla so much on Sunday, we went by the Toyota Dealer to look while the dealer was closed. Went back last night and bought a 2009 dark gray Camary (29.5k miles) for her. I guess she's finally over her mini-van stage. Thank God!

And as a bonus, I got them to throw the XM fit kit and receiver in for my Corolla!
They asked if i was coming back next week for another car.
